Basic Information The objective of Advanced I Agility is to improve the working relationship of the dog and handler. We want to improve the fundamentals of the dogs attention and the handling skills of the handler. The cost of Advanced Agility is $80.00 for an 8 week class. Graduation Requirements You and your dog must demonstrate all of the following to successfully complete Advanced I Agility. The handler must be able to negotiate their dog through a sequence, with a minimum of 10 obstacles, with the dog off leash, using verbal commands, and using intermittent reinforcements. The handler must display the knowledge of basic handling skills including front and rear crosses, obstacle discrimination, body language and cues, and body blocking. The handler must show the ability to walk a course and recognize the most efficient handling techniques for them and their dog. The dog must demonstrate the ability to complete 12 Weave Poles with guides on the entrance and exit.
